BIOS stand for Basic Input Output System
Bios it an essential set of program's (Routines) stored on a chip on the mother of the Computer.
It acts as an intermediate between a computer hardware and operating system, without bios the computer operating system cannot communicate with it, and also manage INPUT/OUTPUT devices Ex:- attach Hard-Disk , Key Board, Mouse etc.
