How to ping an AWS EC2 instance

 

Ping is a computer network administration software utility used to test the reachability of a host on an Internet Protocol network.

 

Step 1) Select Instance  >> Click on Security 

 

Step 2) Click on Inbond Rule >> Click on Edit Inbond Rule

 

Step 3) Add ICMP protocol >> choose anywhere >> click on save

 

Step 4) Now Check ping status
