Linux is a Open-Source Unix like Operating System, based on linux kernel, an operating system kernel first release on September 17 ,1991 by Linus Torvalds.

  • boot   -  Boot loader files.
  • dev    -  device information files.
  • lib      -  system libraries.
  • usr      -  The /usr directory is called “user.” You will find user related binary programs and executables
